Behind the story of my first audition for Hawaii Five-0

This photograph captures a moment from the early seventies when I attended an audition for Hawaii Five-0. Due to my limited proficiency in English at the time, I only managed to secure a few extra roles. A casting director advised me to improve my English skills, but with the responsibility of raising three children, I couldn’t pursue it immediately. However, later in life, I enrolled in a Community College in Honolulu to study English as a second language. My journey serves as inspiration for both the younger and older generations, highlighting that it’s never too late to learn. I want to emphasize the importance of education in one’s career pursuits.
